Overview
Unlike image resize or compress, **PDF tools run on our servers**. You upload files, we process them, and you download the result. A **free registered account with verified email** is required — guest sessions cannot use PDF tools.

Plan limits
- •**Files per job:** 20 (Free) · 50 (Premium) — merge and JPG→PDF accept multiple files; most other tools use one PDF at a time
- •**Max file size:** 25 MB (Free) · 50 MB (Premium) per file
- •**Daily PDF jobs:** 10 (Free) · 100 (Premium)
- •**Downloads:** Free users should download once — the job is removed after the first download. Premium keeps results for **7 days**.

Typical workflow
- **Sign in** or create a free account, then **verify your email**.
- Open the tool you need from PDF Tools.
- **Drop PDFs** (or JPGs for JPG→PDF) onto the drop zone — thumbnails show what you selected; use **Add** to append more files up to your batch limit.
- Set any **tool options** (rotation angle, watermark text, page range, password, etc.).
- Click the action button — the page **uploads**, **polls job status**, then shows **Download** when ready.
When to use PDF vs image tools
- •**Catalog photos, marketplace listings** → Image Tools (browser-side, no account required)
- •**Invoices, contracts, scanned documents, vendor PDFs** → PDF tools (server-side, account required)
- •**Product photos needing transparency** → Background Removal
Server requirements (for admins)
Best results on the VPS use system tools: **Ghostscript** (compress), **poppler-utils** (PDF→JPG, page counts), and **qpdf** (protect/unlock). Core merge, split, rotate, watermark, and extract work with **pdf-lib** alone.
