Amazon catalog images

A practical order of operations for sellers: remove backgrounds, match Amazon frame sizes, compress for performance, manually validate against Amazon's rules, then upload.

  1. 1
    Upload
Gather PNG or JPEG catalog shots (or a ZIP). Open image tools and start from Background removal or Bulk Resize depending on whether you need transparency first.
  2. 2
    Background removal
Use Background removal for white or transparent catalog looks. Check Amazon's current rules for main images (e.g. pure white background requirements) before you publish.
  3. 3
    Resize
In Bulk Resize, choose the Amazon Productpreset (2000×2000) or your category's required dimensions. See the Amazon image resizer guide for context.
  4. 4
    Compress
Shrink bytes with Bulk Compress so mobile PDPs load fast. Start with High Quality; re-run with Balanced if you still exceed upload limits. Overview: bulk image compressor.
  5. 5
    Validate
We do not replace Amazon's own checks. Before upload, confirm: correct dimensions for your image slot, acceptable file type and size, main-image backgroundrules, and no disallowed text or borders. Use Seller Central's latest help articles as the source of truth.
  6. 6
    Download ZIP
Each browser tool finishes with a Download ZIP action. Unpack, spot-check a few SKUs in Preview, then upload to Seller Central. Premium keeps saved downloads longer — see pricing.
