Facebook feed images

Square 1:1 feed images are a practical default across many Page and Boost placements. Normalize a batch, compress for mobile feed speed, then upload through Meta’s tools. For Page covers, use the Facebook Post preset first for square posts—or open the size guide for the wide cover frame.

  1. 1
    Upload
Collect catalog images (PNG, JPEG, WebP, or a ZIP). Open image tools and start in Bulk Resize if you need consistent frame sizes first, or go straight to Bulk Compress if pixels are already correct.
  2. 2
    Optimize (resize)
In Bulk Resize, pick the Facebook Post (1:1) preset (1080×1080) or match your category's required aspect ratio with custom width and height. Optional: Bulk Convert if you need JPG for upload. See the Facebook image resizer guide.
  3. 3
    Compress
Run Bulk Compress so storefronts and listing pages load quickly on mobile. Start with High Quality, then try Balanced if portals still reject file size. Tips: bulk image compressor.
  4. 4
    Quick checks
Confirm dimensions, format, and file size against Facebook's latest listing rules (borders, text, backgrounds). Policies change — use your Meta Business Suite or Facebook Composer checklist as the source of truth before you publish.
  5. 5
    Export (ZIP)
Each tool ends with Download ZIP. Unpack, verify a sample listing in preview, then upload in Meta Business Suite or Facebook Composer. Premium keeps saved downloads longer — see pricing.
